Mark your calendars! Spartan SCUBA is heading up to Sunrise Resort on Hood Canal for an extended, action-packed dive week from Sunday, September 20th through Saturday, September 26th, 2026. We’re shaking up the schedule this month. Instead of splitting our efforts between an early-month beginner weekend and a late-month technical push, we are mashing them together into one massive, week-long diving event. Whether you’re looking to knock out your very first open water checkouts, dial in your buoyancy, or push into technical depths, HQ will be on-site and operational for seven straight days.

Let’s wrap up July with a classic Pacific Northwest Sunday on the water. On Sunday, July 26th, the Spartan Dive Team is hosting a casual, “meet us there” dive day at the Sunrise Dive Park on the Hood Canal.
Looking for a solid day of saltwater bottom time without the heavy lifting? We’re heading up to the Hood Canal on Thursday, July 23rd, for a multi-dive “fun day” at the Sunrise Dive Park. This trip is all about getting in the water, racking up some pristine PNW dives, and logging quality time with the crew.
Join the Maritime Archaeological Society (MAS) and Spartan SCUBA at Sunrise Resort on Saturday, August 1st (0800–1400) as we take baseline offset and trilateration skills out of the practice zone and apply them to actual underwater boats and artifacts. We’re adding an underwater photography challenge to capture clear, identifiable documentation under real-world conditions. Non-divers and surface crew are welcome for shore support, data logging, and coordinating artifact sketches!
