In-Water Time: 0900 – 1400 (followed by packing up and heading home)

Mark your calendars, because it’s time for another classic Friday Fun-Day Dive-Day at Sunrise Resort! Whether you’re looking to shake off the workweek or squeeze in some incredible Pacific Northwest bubble therapy, we’ve got an amazing day of fun diving lined up along the jade pulse of the Hood Canal.

Schedule & Logistics

• 0800: Gear up, check in, and meet by the water.
• 0900 – 1400: Open fun-diving window to explore, take photos, and enjoy the depths.
• Post-1400: Pack up our gear, wrap up stories from the water, and head home.

Compressor Status Update

Fingers and gloved hands are crossed all around that the resort’s brand-new compressor is fully up and running for our visit! We are keeping a close eye on the status and will update this posting the moment we have final confirmation. Be sure to check back here before you pack your gear bags.

Dive Park & Underwater Sights

There is always something incredible to discover beneath the surface here. We’ll be checking out and enjoying the underwater park—sculpted by time, tide, and community care. Expect to glide past fascinating structural features, gentle artificial reefs, and an abundance of local marine life nestled into the nooks and crannies. From curious rockfish to stunning macro subjects, the underwater playground offers endless exploration for every diver.

Exposure Gear & Surface Intervals

November diving in the Pacific Northwest means crisp air and refreshing waters. Make sure you bring your heavy-duty thermal protection—properly fitted drysuits or thick wetsuits, along with reliable hoods and gloves—to stay entirely comfortable throughout your dives.

When you pop up from the cold water, we are all holding out high hopes that the newly upgraded diver services area is fully functional, complete with its rumored cozy pellet stove! There’s nothing quite like warming your hands by a pellet stove while swapping stories and sipping something hot between dives.
