Put Your Feet Up in Cozumel

Whether on a dive trip, or just a vacation, don’t forget to stop and put your feet up!

Is Cozumel on your bucket list?

Located just east of mainland Mexico, Cozumel is a tropical island that embodies everything Gilligan’s Island, but with running water, dive boats, and telephones!

The water, amazingly clear and bathwater-warm 84°, is home to some of the most colorful sea life you could ever imagine. With shore diving galore, it’s hard to go wrong here.

Getting there is easy.

Open your interweb browser and use your search engine or airline of choice to search for flights to CZM, the airport code for Cozumel. Once you’re on the ground you’ll have an islands worth of choice places to stay. Whether you’re going just for the diving (Scuba Club Cozumel is excellent for this), or want to kick back in a tropical paradise, the resorts and hotels are ubiquitous.

No matter the reason for being here, diving or vacation… make sure you stop at least once, find a hammock in the shade, lay back, and put your feet up.

You can’t dive all the time!

The Spartan Dive Team loves going to the Scuba Club Cozumel. Where do you want to dive? Let us know in the comments!

Dr Eric "Doc" Strand

After being injured in the line of duty while serving in the Marines, SSGT Strand transitioned to Dr. Strand, and spent the next 25 years practicing medicine, dedicating his time and energy to bringing better health and enlightenment to the community he served. After learning to dive with his family, he quickly felt a growing passion for the underwater world: the peace and tranquility was greater than any form of meditation he'd ever tried. SCUBA diving became the hobby at first, then moved slowly into the next, and hopefully last profession. A published author and poet, Doc's passion for creativity coupled with his experiences and travels abroad impact not only his writing style, but also his passion for life, teaching, SCUBA diving, and medicine.
