Sunday Saltwater Session: Meet Up at Sunrise!

Let’s wrap up July with a classic Pacific Northwest Sunday on the water. On Sunday, July 26th, the Spartan Dive Team is hosting a casual, “meet us there” dive day at the Sunrise Dive Park on the Hood Canal.

Unlike our tight-timeline shop runs, this day is entirely self-paced. There’s no early morning convoy leaving the shop—just pack up your rig, drive up when you like, and meet the crew on the beach. Drop in for a single deep wall dive, or stick around all day to log as many splashes as your thermal layers and gas supply will allow. When you’re done, you can pack up and head straight back to your own castle at your own leisure.

How to Join the Crew:

• Where: Sunrise Resort and Motel in Hoodsport.
• When: Sunday, July 26th. The team will be active on the property throughout the day.
• The Plan: Show up, coordinate with the team on the beach for buddy pairs, splash into the park, and dive on your own schedule.

Logistics & On-Site Amenities:

All day-use access and air logistics are handled directly through the resort property. Please note that Washington State and local sales taxes are added to all baseline resort rates, and hot showers are not yet available on site.

• Day-Use Passes: $20 per person for full access to the beach, picnic areas, BBQs, and the resort hot tub for post-dive decompression.
• Cylinder Fills: $10 per tank (Air) via the resort’s fast on-site fill station.
• Site Gear Infrastructure: Take full advantage of the dedicated gear rinse basins and secure suit drying room between your splashes.
