If you are ready to elevate your skills, sharpen your technical execution, or finalize your outstanding certifications, the Spartan PNW Training Weekend at Sunrise is your perfect window of opportunity. Starting Thursday morning, June 25th, through Saturday morning, June 27th, the Spartan Scuba dive team is heading back up to the Hood Canal. Doc and KC will be on-site specifically to conduct dedicated training dives for anyone looking to advance their capabilities or wrap up ongoing coursework.

We are running a highly efficient, professional operation to maximize our time in the water. We will be rolling out from the shop at 04:45 AM sharp on Thursday, aiming to splash and kick off our first dive profiles by 08:00 AM. We will maintain a full schedule through Thursday and Friday, wrapping up the entire event by 11:00 AM on Saturday so everyone can transition smoothly into the rest of their weekend.

Custom Profiles: From Shallows to 180 Feet

This weekend is strictly focused on high-quality, qualitative skill development. Because we cater to a diverse range of instructional needs, our team is fully prepared to manage and support training dives across a massive operational envelope. Whether you are dialing in basic buoyancy and skills in the 10-foot shallows or executing advanced gas-management plans down in the inky blackness of 180 feet, we have you covered. This is the ideal environment for technical scuba diving PNW students to get personalized instruction in challenging, realistic conditions.

Lodging & Logistics Note

Please be aware that the resort is currently fully booked and there are no regular rooms available for our group configuration. However, if you are planning to join us for these training days, it may be highly prudent to call the resort directly to check on availability, as cancellations do happen and schedules change over time.

If you are commuting daily or securing nearby accommodations, you will still have access to the stellar on-site amenities at the Hood Canal underwater dive park, including convenient air fills, gear rinse stations, and the hot tub for a post-dive thaw.

The Schedule

• Thursday is a fun day – no classes or training.
• Friday – we’ll put in all the work to help you achieve your bubble blowing dreams!
• Saturday – final dives and then slow pack out and bounce

Resort Logistics

• Day use fee of $20 + WA tax
• Tank fills are $10 + WA tax each
• Hot tub is up and working!
